SEPTEMBER
September 14: Work is substantially complete, however a
few restoration items remain. We are looking to finalize these items in
the next couple of weeks.
AUGUST
August 14: Contractor is mobilized to Chicago
Road at Garden Place. They will pre-dig at Garden Place Monday 8/14 and
perform the installation operations on Tuesday 8/15. Please keep in mind
that water service will be interrupted from 8am -3pm. Please give workers
space be conscious of the signs, barrels, and change in traffic patterns.
August 3: Asphalt repairs will take place at the locations of O’Brien Rd & 11th Ave, as well as Shepard Ave and Stone Gate Drive.
The contractor will mobilize
operations to the area of Oakwood Road at Redwood Dr to start excavation on
Monday August 7th. Please
look for notices of service interruption if you live in this area, and pay
special attention to traffic control signage for your safety and the safety of
others.
August 1: The valve at the Intersection of E. O’Brien Rd. and S. 11th Ave. was successfully installed. Thank you for your patience during the difficult water shutdown. Pavement restoration and final cleanup will be forthcoming in the near future.
The contractor has mobilized project operations to the area of Shepard Avenue and Stone-Gate. They will be working on system modifications at this location for a couple of days. No water shutdown is scheduled for this work. If an emergency should arise we will communicate any service interruptions as soon as possible.
JULY
July 27: Work on the Valve Cut-In Project will begin on Monday July 31, 2017. The starting location will be at the intersection of 11th Ave and E. O’Brien Rd. From there the contractor will move to locations in the following order:
-S. Shepard Ave. and E. Stonegate Dr.
-E. Oakwood Road and Redwood Lane
-E. Oakwood Road and S. John Aaron Dr.
-S. Chicago Road and E. Garden Place
This work requires planned shutdown of the water main. Please look for notices of water shut down times and dates handed out door to door 2 days prior to the shutdown.
